The party line is—I’m a professional designer and communicator—but my taxes actually say “artist”. I studied in Georgia, traveled around and currently live in my hometown of Cincinnati, OH.

I love helping people get their message across. I’ve been doing that in print, on the internet, and in real-world environments for the better part of two decades. With the amount of noise in the world growing exponentially, it’s rewarding to boost the signal for people with important things to share.

CURRENTLY THINKING ABOUT

  • I’m interested in how strong communities, IRL and online, can be built and nurtured to empower the growth and health of their members and the body as a whole. We stand a chance when we stand together.

  • My current side obsession is building a dashboard for keeping track of creators and thinkers across the never-ending parade of “content”-publishing sites and apps that inevitably come and go. Something platform-agnostic, empowering and perennial.

  • I’m in year three of maintaining a garden. Beyond the soul-centering therapy that gardening provides, I still get endless thrills from making a delicious meal by combining things that I've cultivated from tiny seeds.

  • The invention of photographic image creation led to Impressionism and every artistic deviation from realism thereafter. I'm curious about what human artistic movements will emerge in response to computers "generating" doppelganger artwork from everything human artists have made prior to its invention.
